Course overview
The Cybersecurity Foundation Class introduces students to essential
concepts in networking, virtualization, packet analysis, and security tools.
Through hands-on labs, projects, and theory, students develop the knowledge
required to recognize and defend against common network threats, while building
a foundation for more advanced cybersecurity training.
What will i learn?
- Understand core networking concepts and security protocols.
- Gain hands-on experience with Wireshark, Nmap, VMware, and Ubuntu.
- Learn to analyze, configure, and secure networks.
- Detect common attacks (spoofing, scanning) and implement defenses.
